Studio A is the crown jewel of American Sound Recording Studios, and the pinnacle of quality and luxury in recording. When you record in Studio A, you’ll get nothing less than top of the line equipment, superior sound design, and super star treatment from the moment you walk through the door. You’ll be tracking, mixing, and hanging out in the largest, most technically advanced studio in the southern San Joaquin Valley.
the control room
Studio A features a world-class 6000 cubic foot, acoustically designed control room with separate machine room and 2 connecting isolation booths. No detail was overlooked when engineering and constructing this acoustically accurate listening environment. The space and design of this room make it ideal for editing, mixing, critical listening, and just hanging out while tracking your project.
the tracking room
From small acoustic ensembles and bands to large choirs and orchestras, this room can accommodate any size project with amazing results. With over 21,000 cubic feet of perfectly designed air space, plus 2 isolation booths, the Studio A tracking room has a signature sound that will give your project a feel that is unobtainable in any other studio.
the artist lounge
One of the most important and overlooked features of a studio is how comfortable you are while you are working. Our artist lounge was created to be a place where you can relax, be creative or just hang out while your guitar player is finishing his overdubs. Here you will have access to your own full kitchen and restroom facilities, as well as a total entertainment system with flat screen, video games, and surround sound. While you’re relaxing, you can watch what’s going on in Studio A by way of closed circuit television direct to the artist lounge, so you’ll never miss a thing.
pro tools
After all the effort that went into the design of the Studio A rooms, there was no question that if would have to be filled with some real horsepower. The control room is centered around a Pro Tools HD3 8 system will Digidesign C|24 digital console. Pro Tools is the industry standard recording platform used in more professional recording studios around the world than any other program. This means you can take any projects you may have already recorded on other Pro Tools systems, and bring them to Studio A to mix. Many studios have some version of Pro Tools, but we always use the most up to date versions and hardware, as well as having professionally trained engineers which means your project will be recorded quicker and better than other facilities

Only the best software plug-ins, outboard gear, and microphones are used in Studio A including gear from the following manufacturers:
Adam Audio, AKG, Antares, Apple, Avalon, Blue, Digidesign, Dynaudio, Empirical Labs, Eventide, Focusrite, Furman, Neumann, Neve, Presonus, Sennheiser, Shure, Sony, Universal Audio, Vintech, Waves and more. We also have a large selection of instruments and backline available, and we can usually accommodate any requests for gear that we don’t already have.
